Over a million pets fly every year around the world to almost any destination however, not every country is the same. It all depends on the country you are travelling from and the one you are going to.
Each country has its own regulations with some being more time consuming and complicated than others. Generally the countries that are isolated and surrounded by sea (UK, Taiwan, Australia etc) tend to have the strictest rules with sometimes as much as 9-12 months of planning ahead for a successful move. Due to these reasons there is no “off the shelf” price as many factors have to be considered including for some countries, quarantine. Cargo rates for a small dog can start from 20,000 HKD to London or 40,000 to Sydney. You might hear that excess baggage is much cheaper starting from 6,000 HKD (not including the excess baggage fee) but not all countries accept excess baggage such as UK, Hong Kong, Australia to name a few.
Also note that there are some breed & environment restrictions from both countries and airlines for example most airlines not accepting brachycephalic flat faced breeds of dogs and cats, especially during the summer months. There are also a lot of restrictions with strong breeds (pit bull terriers, Kangal, Dogo Argentino etc).
Here is a list of our most popular destinations but always note that regulations are always subject to change.
